Hello Fall!!

We went last weekend on a day trip to the lake as a last summer trip. The water was a little chilly for this momma, but the kids had a blast!! I also took a picture of Damon & Emma fishing. I was feeling nostalgic because some of my best memories of my dad were sitting on the banks of a lake fishing.

Fall also means soccer!! My babies are both playing soccer.

And this is what you do when you are bored at your brothers' practice..

Weekend Wrap-up

It's been a busy first few weeks of school.

Festival Time 2013

Our annual town festival was this weekend. I had a blast! The kids and I rode on one of the floats in the parade. 

Then we had some friends come into town and the kids stayed with a sitter while we went to the first annual wine tasting at the festival, ate a funnel cake, and turkey leg, and listened to a local man sing some songs at the courthouse square.  Instead of heading out on the town yesterday evening, we stayed home and spent some time with the kiddos. 

This morning Damon and Landon went dove hunting and came back with several dove. Cant wait to get some bacon and have some dove for dinner. Yumm!! So far it's been a nice weekend.
